can this be fixed with touchup&wetsanding?

Default can this be fixed with touchup&wetsanding?

so i just picked up an S and just noticed that the owner didn't have a front license plate bracket so i decided to take it off to find this...




sorry for the crappy iphone pics... but i just wanna get your guy's opinion on if this can be fixed or not?

From the pictures that looks like a blemish, perhaps plastic from the old license plate holder that is on the paint. Try claying and then hitting it with a good polish. That might pull it all right off.

If I'm wrong and the black is actually the bumper showing through I don't know how easy that will be to touch up. :/

tried a clay bar didnt really do much... probably need a more agressive one? i'm waiting on a friend to pickup a porter cable so ill try polishing after and hopefully that works thanks for the input btw

A pc with some swirl remover will take most of that off, but there are gonna be marks left though.
