Hey guys I'm in the process of building my s2k. I'm looking at the body with all new bumpers and fenders and I want a different color. My questions are What would be the cost to just wrap the whole car instead of paint. Pro's vs. Con's of each. Also can I wrap body panels without paint? Say I order a front bumper can I just wrap that without worrying about painting it then wrapping the car.

Yea the paint is so bad and a lot of new panels so I figured this would be cheaper and would have to repaint it. Its just a play toy so as long as it looks good I would be happy.

 

Anybody with a full car wrap care to share your experience?

 

The wrap experiences wear just like paint. Some places can offer colors in wrap that would be hard or impossible to get with paint. Wrap tends to be cheaper, and if there is some wear. you can just re-do sections. I'd check around for prices in your area. I'm looking to do the same on mine.

 

if there's chips or your paint is peeling/uneven it will show in the vinyl and it does not look great at all! just an fyi. but wraps definitely look nice!
