It will be fine if you just reinforce it still, people run huge spoilers on their stock trunks no problem. Also the outsides of the trunks are identical, only the inside of the CR trunk. Fitment will be the same on either trunk, the CR one is just reinforced underneith.
Thanks, I noticed you are selling your stock Suzuka wing, wish I ran in to that post earlier!!!

The CR wing generates a noticeable amount of downforce than can be felt at about 60 mph. In fact, if the trunk area is not reinforced properly it more than likely will deform over time. With the deformation very noticeable at the surface of the trunk lid at the mounting points.

And yes the CR trunk fits the Ap1 equally as well, good luck.

Haha yeah a guy said he was going to buy my spoiler like 10min after I posted it for sale.

Yeah either get a CR trunk (which will cost quite a bit to get, then paint Suzuka) or just reinforce yours yourself with some sheet metal and large washers. I would hate to have your trunk deformed by not reinforcing it.

Thanks for the info. I had a question for you, did you use a gasket for the brackets to the trunk because I can not find any info on it at Honda or is it metal to metal?
