It would appear to me that this guy didn't use a variant deck when matching the paint or actually painted it the wrong color (can never really tell paint from pictures). I would be pretty pissed seeing he didn't even attempt to tell you that he couldn't properly match the panels and sprayed them whatever he felt was best. Sure he may be a great painter, but simple business practice says if it's not exactly how the customer is gonna want it, clear it with them before you proceed. Just my 2 cents.

In this instance, when the paint was dry and it was nowhere near the original color, the painter should have notified the owner and started a paint match/respray process. It's definitely not the owner's fault that the bodyshop guy was too lazy to actually work on a good match rather than just mixing a paint code and hoping it would work (the paint code should really only be used as a starting point for the mix).

Anything less is a bodyshop I'd never visit again. Just my $0.02.

He painted my car free of labor and prep as long as I pay for the paint. He pretty much painted the whole front end starting from the doors. Now it's darker in the front than the back. -_-

Yup, I can see it from this latest picture. It is Synchro (Chicane) up front, and Silverstone at the rear.

I was thinking about it too... Just worried the guy can't even match his own freaking paint

Dude you should have had the guy paint the whole car. Now the front end is way darker than the rear end. I can't believe the painter couldn't use some common sense while doing this job.

that last pic is now way too obvious.. I would demand him to paint the rest of the rear to make it match..

If he says't that's normal, then he needs to get his eyes checked.. I'm color blind and i can see that the color shade is out of wack..

On the bright side, the clear looks pretty good, but that might just be the photograph..
