Default dirt in taillight

I have a bunch of dirt/debris in my driver's side taillight and would really like to get it out. Any suggestions?

I would like to figure out how to remove the taillight lens and clean it out that way, but I haven't been able to figure out how to from my searches. Anyone successfully do this? I took off my taillight earlier but got scared that I was going to break it when I was prying at the lens.

TIA

i heard people make two holes with a screw driver and blow compressed air until all of the debris is out . then silicone the holes.

If the tail lights are ap1 you can remove the bulbs, rinse with water then immediately bake them at 250 degrees F

AP2 Why can't I do that with AP2? Are the LEDs harder to remove?

You can get liquids in/out of AP2s through the side of the backup light (clear lens). It takes a little patience but water stains and smart particles can be flushed out through the opening behind that light. Good luck!

You shouls use distilled water to avoid water spots caused by dissolved solids in tap or spring water.
