Default Does my door appear to be a different color

I just noticed this a week or so ago when looking at the car in the right lighting. My door appears to be a different shade of silver. Now I can't stop noticing it! The thing is I am fairly certain it has never been repainted (all original panels, no overspray, etc.). Plus I actually notice it on other SSM AP1s. Truthfully, for what I plan to do with the car it wouldn't matter to me if it had been repainted, just more of a curiosity thing. Either it has been repainted, it is an illusion that SSM gives in certain light, or Honda painted the body and doors separate from one another then installed the doors afterwards.

Attached are pictures of my car and a totally different AP1, that both seem to have the same issue. Anyone else notice this or have an explanation?

I see the difference. To me, it looks like the sun has effected the clearcoat differently. I don't see the difference in the color, but in the reflection.

Maybe I should try to give it a waxing with a good wax? I did wax it when I first bought it with Zymol, but it was old and kinda separated.

Give that a try, it won't hurt.
FYI... I can't see anything wrong in your pics.

Haha, it may be my eyes and that I am seeing what I want (in this case don't want) to see, which is kinda why I posted this. Figure if no one else sees it then I am officially crazy!

Nope I don't see it and I'm pretty good bout picking those things out. Could just be that the panels are shape differently so they reflect light differently and can look different at certain angles
