Default Doing a vinyl wrap

Tossed around the idea of having my LBP hardtop painted black. A friend mentioned it would be better to do a vinyl wrap. Mainly cause it's not permanent like paint. Has anyone here ever used a gloss black vinyl for anything? Figured it would look identical to the windshield tape.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

its kinda hard on a oem hardtop cuz the top is like a bubble with no shape. its do-able just might take awhile to put on.

gloss black gets scratches very easily. just FYI

This seems like some legit stuff. It is expensive, but I think it would be worth it since it will be removable and won't damage your paint underneith. If I remember right they do have just black, but here at my work computer I can't get the color deck thing to pop up on there.

3M vinyl wrap is the way to go, or their Di-Noc carbon fiber vinyl available in seven colors.

Practicing my wrapping skills last weekend, decided to tidy up a buddies BMW RS. I enjoy working with the 3M Di Noc vinyl
