Default Driver side door not flush

i have found one topic from 04 that had the same issue but there was never a clear answer to why or how to fix the door, or if its a simple bolt to be tightened. need help, any links or suggestions?!

Pictures, or a better description of where the door is misaligned would help diagnose the problem. It can be one of several things depending on the door position, has the vehicle ever been in an accident?

i am unable to upload any pics right now, but i just purchased the car on sat the 3rd and it was a clean title, no accidents. i noticed that the door was poking out the most right before the bottom of the door ends and the side skirt begins. its also not quite even at the top of the door where it seals. i really hope the seller didn't lie abt his "clean title".

I had the same thing on MY03 and what worked for me was was unscewing the hook that is attached to the body of the car and turned it around so that the back screw is now in front. I hope this makes sense.... Might be worth a try since it's only two screws
