Front Jack points bent
The drivers front side jack points under the front of the drivers door are in bad shape and I was wondering if they can be replaced? How much work involved if so?
are you talking about the actual L shaped jack point metal. The jack points are hard to bend, but some of the metal rails that surround the jacking point bend easily. Some people accidentally put jacks on the softer metal rail rather than the real jack point. The softer metal rails might be repaired by bending the metal back into shape, the metal jack point might have to be welded, not sure.
Take a 2x4 and clamp it to the pinch welds on the side it will let you keep the board flush, on the other side hit it lightly with a small sledge hammer till it forms back in place. If it's curled up you may need to pull it out to a hammer able state with a pair of vice grips.
