Hi guys, I have a question I recently purchased my 04 S and have enjoyed driving it and learning the aspects of FR configuration vehicles. I am thinking about buying a factory lip for the S and I have noticed that most owners get a paint matched lip or leave it unpainted. I have always liked the CF look or blackhawk pearl black color on front lips. I want your take on this, Is it better to color match or is it cool to have the CF/blackhawk pearl applied to a lip? I am not a big fan of the rubber black look but I don't knock anyone who does, It's just my personal preference. Oh yeah my S is suzuka blue any input would be appreciated.

 

The factory front lip comes already painted. Are you talking about an OEM knock-off?

 

Either or, The factory lip in berlina black and the knock off in either blackhawk pearl (Acura MDX color) or wrapped in CF film.

 

Honestly black ap2 lips on a different color s2k's looks like its way out of place. Color match it to the suzuka, it will look best that way!
