Default How do you fix this? (Bumper Damage)

It's pretty deep, the chip that came off was about 1mm thick. It also cracked in half where the bolts are.

Another thing the splash guard curves downward, I doubt this is normal, it's supposed to flat and attached with clips or something right?

What do I use to fill in that hole and cover the cracks?

Do you assume it's been repainted because of the paint on the screws?

u can just leave it like that if you dont mind. this car sits pretty low for stock that eventually u'll hit something.

its been repainted because the splash guard u are talking about thats curved downward is painted red. all the guards behind the bumper is all black

Looks like someone did a DIY repair of a crack in the front bumper. And judging from the paint overspray, it was done with the bumper on, so I'm guessing the fiberglass was never properly repaired. You need to dismount the bumper, and have it repaired from behind. If there are cracks in the glass, they will need ground out and reenforced from behind, then primed and repainted. Another idea, if it is not too badly cracked would be to buy an OEM front lip. It would likely cover the damage area, but you would need to have that painted as well.

Personally, I would go with the OEM lip, or look in the forum for someone selling a used AP1 NFR bumper. Good luck with the repair>

Thanks, I thought it would be as simple as bondo'ing the hole and using touchup paint but that would most likely just look crappy. Not a fan of the front lip IMO so I'll just go look for a used NFR bumper.

Don't give up if you can't find one. Last year I purchased a ING+ bumper for my car. It arrived slightly cracked in shipping and needed repaired. It cost $150 for the repair, of course the after market bumper was a little more pricey than the OEM one, but the repair cost will give you something to compare against. Good luck!

Thats not a hard fix at all! its a stress crack from smacking into something. The paint just needs to be sanded down smooth to remove the cracks and the a whole repaint of your bumper. No need for a new bumper though
