Since I am new to this field, I would like to ask you some questions according to the hardtop installation. Currently I own an s2000 2009 and I found a hardtop for sale from a 2005 gt model. I asked the guy to include in the sale all the needed hardware/mounting that I will be needing in order to fit the hardtop to my car, since my car is a standard s2000 not a gt model, but since I do not know much about what is actually needed to do that I would really appreciate your help. I would love to if you could also show me with a picture what is actually needed since I have read online about some side trims that I do now know what exactly they are and whether they are needed or not.

you would need some brackets for the rear and in the front you can use your soft top latches. You can buy them from ballade sports, forbiddenusa or ebay.

I don't believe there is any difference between a "GT" hardtop and any other HT, with the exception of a "CR" top. Here is a link to install instructions from Honda, check it out to see what parts are needed.
