Thanks for the pics man. They look great!
Few questions
They look like a really thin strip, true?
They are facing out towards the front, not up right?
Did you just put them on a toggle switch or what?
Thx

It is a thin strip....but width wise they are a little bigger! The way these ones are made they have the led's on the very edge so it is easier to hide them also making sure that it is a cleaner look. You can buy them at autozone but as my troubles showed not all autozone's have them so if you don't find them at first keep looking. They are made by the brand "LEDLITZ", they were 20 dollars after tax 26 something. So yes they are facing twords the front because they are on the edge. I wired them to the ignition so when the car turns on they turn on, from there I wired them to a switch incase I ever didnt want them on or something happened( its a good thing seeing as one side got damaged.

Here is a pic of the packaging, so you can find them easily at autozone.

Thanks for the link, my local store should have it, it says.

The pics make the LEDs look blue, are they blue or white. I'm sure the cops around here would pull people over for anything other then white

They are are very bright white....they might have a hint of blue but they are perfectly legal. You can cut the lights to length but I used the whole thing, In my opinion its needed! Let me know how you make out and if you need pics of where/how I wired it up!

Hope this helps,
-Bryan

OOO and I forgot...there are three colors at autozone red, white, and blue. Also MAKE SURE you get the ones that have the leds on the very edge or the setup wont look as clean. I accidently bought the ones with the led's in the middle thinking they were the same as the ones I had. I cut them and wired them up only to realize they werent the same and I was out 25 bucks!
