Wow I never would have thought YouTube would have a video for it
Thanks
What guage wire did you use...18?
How did you splice in? Strip existing wire and "tee" into it or did you buy something special?

I cant post any pics cause I jumped in the pool with my phone yesturday, but yes I did use 18 gauge wire only because I could run something off the wire in the future! And there are things you can buy that will help you with wiring like connectors and such, I used butt connectors to put the wires together then wrapped them in electrical tape and to tie into the fuse box I just put a male connector on the end of the wire and plugged it right in!

Haha that's funny
So before I started pulling the bumper off I noticed there is no space between the headlight and bumper(for the led strip)
Does the strip get pinched between the two? If so, placement of the strip would have to be perfect, otherwise if it's to far back the bumper would then cover it up once put back on.

there should be a little gap?.....if not you can always move the bumper brackets down a little!

You have to put the sticky par of the strip on the under side of the light...not the front

Mine look exactly like the Mercedes LED's when they are lit up, I've got them on a switch so I can shut them off if I want to, but if not they come on with ignition, I use them as drl's as my car was a US import and does not have drl's needed in Canada.

My kit is 5 x 1watt led's per fixture x 2 fixtures is 10 watts max. I like the setup, it was a custom install, relatively simple but I took my time doing it, I made it work. It's wired to the underdash spare ignition power supply and ground.
