Default Looking for hard top options

I have a 2001 S2000. I am looking for a way to reduce the wind noise at highway speeds when the top is up. I have heard a hard top can greatly reduce this although I like being able to lower the soft top on the go. I usually drive to work with the top up but end up taking it down for the ride home. Is there a possible option to get a hard top that folds or disassembles on the go like the newer miatas have? I am okay with it being more manual and not operating with the current roof button but I can't seem to find anything. Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket options like I just described. If not, any tips on reducing wind noise at higher speeds? Thanks in advance!

Nope doesn't exist. Make sure your softtop latches/catchers aren't worn out and your rubber seals are in good shape.

You're driving a 22-year old convertible! Gotta expect wind noise and rattles. Lots of articles here on reducing some of the noises.

It's almost time to put in the barn until April or May anyway so enjoy it roof down while you can.

There is no really good option if you want a hardtop AND the ability to easily go topless on-the-go.

The closest thing to something somewhat convenient is to go with an OEM Honda Hardtop with the OEM hardware. But even that's not going to get you what you want. But it does add a layer of convenience. Two lever swivels in the back, two latches in the front (clip, clip...clip, clip) and you can instantly lift the roof off and put it on your hardtop stand (assuming you have a hardtop stand). But this process requires two people.

My hardtop stays on 95% of the time and is virtually* squeak/rattle free. I am lucky that all the seals are tight, and I have been able to troubleshoot the source of rattles in the latches. The OEM hardtop has a lot more headroom than the closed soft top.

* "Virtually" squeak and rattle free is relative to the what typical S2000 norms. I am not saying that it is silent like a high end luxury car.

Clean your seal with soapy water and vinegar. Let it dry for a couple of minutes and then use etsy grease to refurbish the seal, putting moisture back into it. The seal is drying and shrinking.
