Default mounting a non s2000 specific spoiler

Hi, Irish lad looking for help

i'm looking for ideas on how to mount a non s2000 specific spoiler which doesn't involve making custom brackets as this will be my last resort

i thought about universal ones, bust most look terrible and cheap tat, and with them i probably will have issues with the profile of the trunk anyway

i thought about the s2000 APR specific mounting kit but i'm unsure if this can be bought alone.......

Any thoughts appreciated

I'd presume you could get any spoiler on there so long as it matches the contour of the trunk and that you can safely drill through the trunk to mount the spoiler. There are plenty options for S2000 spoilers though, so do a search on that first. You might even be able to find one being sold local to you by a member.

oh there are a few options on a spoiler for one, not many except OEM local though

i have bought the spoiler which i think will look unbelievable on the car, but the current mounting brackets are wider than the trunk, so i need a mount\bracket that i can try and use, even better if they start at the edge of the trunk and go ouwards like this

_______
'\_____/'

(black line on top is spoiler, bottom is trunk, red being the mounts/brackets)

is this possible??

i cant tell by looking at that picture how good that spoiler will look on your car but dont ruin your car with experiments.

You'll get a kick out of this... one of the old school guys on here, xviper, had a non-s2000 wing on his car back in the day. Sourced from a - Dodge Neon. Not kidding. Believe it or not, it worked just fine on the car. Here's an old thread that mentioned it, but the pics are long gone...
