Hi,

I just bought a mugen front bumper for my s2k but when we installed the bumper the service warned me about the huge openning in the front. They told me that even the smallest stone or even a bird can get through the radiator because there is no mesh grill on the bumper.

After that warning i felt fractious and removed the bumper to apply a mesh grill.

When i searched on google for the pics , i saw that everyone is using the bumper without the grill.

So i just cannot decide if i should be using the bumper without the mesh grill or with it. Would it be safe to do so? , On the other hand i'm afraid that the mesh grill would look bad on the bumper.

Any advice?

 

I'm personally not a fan of the chicken wire looking mesh.

 

It doesn't come with a grill. I have had no issues with mine.

 

Gonna look tacky IMO if you use the mesh.

 

Thanks for all the replies , just out of curiosity i will measure the surface of the opening with the original bumper and the mugen , as you know the original has only a slim plastic cover.

Also i have to use the front plate (its a must here) , so the openning will not be that huge like you guys have.
