Default Need help with soft top reassemble

I had my hardtop installed by some garage a while ago. And, I took off the top and reinstalled my soft top assembly. Its a long story as to the process, but I need serious help on the following.

Notice in the following pictures that the rubber strips are not properly aligned.

Is it because the rear rubber strip around the soft top is loose?

And, regarding the following pictures. Are there missing bolts or nuts from the holes? I circled them in red. Sigh.....

Do help me man.

In the first image that's normal for them to be off like that. Mines that way and everyone i can recall has been that way plus that part isn't removed in the soft top install/removal process. In img53o and 72 i believe your missing a plastic push pin, but not sure. I'll check tomorrow.

Hi,
You are right. I found the plastic push clip but cant seem to find the nut which is supposed go into the hole circled in image53o. Not quite sure how to reinstall the plastic clip. Possible upload a pic of how the plastic clip goes over the part circled on image53o?

Had a look at another 2 s2k. Guess u r rite, the door and softtop molding tend to be slightly off. Ah well.

Thanks for ur help. Appreciate it man.
