Default New Formula Red Color Blend

I have an 01 NFR s2000 and had to get a fender replaced. The Paint shop painted it with the exact color code and now the fender is really bright compared to the car. It throws off the whole car . What is my best option to fix this do i color blend?? Never had this problem and I am clueless with paint .

Holy shit that's off!!! I would be pissed. Good Body shops are hard ta fawking find. I would def take that back and have them re-do it. That isn't acceptable.

They might have used the other Honda red, Rallye Red or Milano Red. I know the Rallye Red is pretty bright. I had a body shop paint a bumper and I made them do it 2 different times, before I gave up. Never going there again.

The funny part is they swore it matched. If I woulda brought that in to their shop, showing them another shops Shitty work, they would have spotted it a mile away. Just thinking about it is making me upset. SMH

The other paint is 10 years old so its darker so i guess blending with a darker red is my only option!

no Thats bad painter. i paint cars for a living. solid red is not hard to match. Ask to have it redone or a refund and take it somewhere else.. i would not have to blend that color. That is really just poor craftsmanship

Regardless of ten year old paint, the work done to your car is terrible. How could a shop release the car to the customer with such bad blending? You have to take it back

How Much would someone charge to color blend a fender?

Oh man, just like everybody above says, you need to take it back and have it redone. No need to pay someone else. If you don't want to try again or don't believe in the shop then demand a refund. If you're just too tired then go find a better shop hehe. Your red still looks good and uniform throughout the car, should not be hard at all for a shop to get that fender to match.

to answer your question though, I had a fender painted for about $150 from a family friend's shop on a 2000 TL and it matches spot on.
