The wheels on your car look freakin' awesome! May I ask what brand/model they are and where you got them? Any mods required to make them fit?

So the "baysonr" lips are no longer the preferred aftermarket AP1 front lips, because they are shipped all bent up and don't fit right?

And eBay sellers "mywholesalegarage" and "r1creation" are selling quality AP1 OEM replica lips that fit well and are shipped without being bent? I noticed that both of these sellers have multiple listings for what appears to be the same lip; the listing titles are just different. And they're all the same price. I wonder what's up with that? Do either of these include the mounting hardware? I assume none of them include the weatherstrip, so I'll have to buy that from Honda.

There's just so much crap on eBay, I want to pick one that people have had good luck with. Since the front lips are so vulnerable to being scraped on driveways and curbs, and these are so inexpensive, I may pick up 2 just so I have an extra. Red paint isn't cheap, so I might as well have them paint 2 of them while they have it mixed up.

Any other insight or recommendations you guys have are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah according to their site they are the OEM, I guess I'll find out when I get it lol. The shipping is kind of a rip off it was $15 or so.

I have no idea how baysonr ships his lips, I ordered mine from r1creation because he has them atm, promises it isn't shipped bent (which it wasn't), and yes it comesw with mounting hardware and even instructions to mount it. No it didn't come with the weatherstripping but r1creation does tell you how to do it with 3m tape if you want to be cheap, I plan on doing it with the weatherstrip. Once I buy these cowboy boots, hat, and shirts for the rodeo here I will be getting mine painted. As far as out of the box it is not deformed or even bent slightly anywhere.
I just ordered the weather strip from here: http://hardtopguy.com/store/product....&cat=25&page=1

They have it in grey or black, so depending what color you have it is nice to have an option.

Cool. Let us know how well the weatherstrip works. Is it OEM?

Has anyone ordered an AP1 lip from Group A Motoring? They are a sponsor here and claim to sell one in their thread...$135 I believe. They "guarantee" fitment

Guys just a heads up, I ordered the AP1 oem replica lip from Group A Motoring.

It cost $165 shipped so it is much pricier than the ebay brands, but they guarantee fitment, it's made out of polyurethane, and comes with mounting hardware. I will post more information once I receive it.

Please do, many of us are still out in the cold when it comes to OEM - style AP1 lips.

I'm trying to keep any mods done to my Berlina Black S2k entirely OEM (or Mugen, once I start doing engine mods). Doing that is rather hard on an AP1 when almost all of the parts have been discontinued.

It should be here this week. Based on the positive responses about their AP2 and CR oem replica lips, I anticipate a quality product. I also ordered some OEM weatherstripping from hardtopguy to complement it.

Perfect. After you had mentioned Group A, i checked out there products and it seems they have a solid line of products. Too bad they don't make the OEM AP1 in FRP.

Did you opt for the OEM paint included as well? actually nvm i believe i read that they prefer not to paint the polyurethane lips as they are flexible and it is best to paint after mounting. Looking forward to your review!

Just picked a lip up from Magic Drift. It came in and is not bend or twisted, the box it was shipped in was pretty sturdy too. I'll be putting it on in April, I'll post pics if nobody else has by then.

No I didn't want them to paint it for the reason you mentioned. Also I live close by to an extremely reputable body shop that I trust so I'll have them take care of that.

At any rate, I still haven't received it yet. I talked to them yesterday and should be here Tuesday. I ordered it on Jan 31, so meh on shipping time. They did respond quickly when I tried to make contact. As long as it fits well, I'll be happy.
