ive test fit a baysonr ap1 lip, its one of the better fitting replicas and would recommend it. esp for so cheap they are.

i have 2 broken oem ap1 lips. im adding to the rarity
This one doesn't need heating or anything, given I haven't painted or mounted it yet, it seems spot on. It even came with instructions on how to make it fit properly. Pretty good for a $47 knock off.

L33t, I'm curious to see how well it fits. Would you mind posting some pics once you get it mounted? Thanks!

Yeah man, I'm going to have to mount it at a later point tho, I wasn't expecting to join the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo as a committee member this year but I am finding out it is going to end up costing me a small fortune, so it might be 3 weeks or so till i get it on there. Pics will follow.

So the "baysonr" lips are no longer the preferred aftermarket AP1 front lips, because they are shipped all bent up and don't fit right?

And eBay sellers "mywholesalegarage" and "r1creation" are selling quality AP1 OEM replica lips that fit well and are shipped without being bent? I noticed that both of these sellers have multiple listings for what appears to be the same lip; the listing titles are just different. And they're all the same price. I wonder what's up with that? Do either of these include the mounting hardware? I assume none of them include the weatherstrip, so I'll have to buy that from Honda.

There's just so much crap on eBay, I want to pick one that people have had good luck with. Since the front lips are so vulnerable to being scraped on driveways and curbs, and these are so inexpensive, I may pick up 2 just so I have an extra. Red paint isn't cheap, so I might as well have them paint 2 of them while they have it mixed up.

Any other insight or recommendations you guys have are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm looking for a quality replica as well. With as much demand there is you'd think a reputable vendor would jump on making one that fits.

I have no idea how baysonr ships his lips, I ordered mine from r1creation because he has them atm, promises it isn't shipped bent (which it wasn't), and yes it comesw with mounting hardware and even instructions to mount it. No it didn't come with the weatherstripping but r1creation does tell you how to do it with 3m tape if you want to be cheap, I plan on doing it with the weatherstrip. Once I buy these cowboy boots, hat, and shirts for the rodeo here I will be getting mine painted. As far as out of the box it is not deformed or even bent slightly anywhere.

I just ordered the weather strip from here: http://hardtopguy.com/store/product....&cat=25&page=1

They have it in grey or black, so depending what color you have it is nice to have an option.

Cool. Let us know how well the weatherstrip works. Is it OEM?
