Default OEM Replica Front Lip

The price seems too good to be true for these. He has great feed back though. What do you guys think? It would be about 53 bucks shipped.

There has been a lot of discussions on here about the lip. I have one of these on my AP1. Most people have gap issues near the wheel well. Mine actually fit better than most of them iv seen. Here is a pic of mine. Hope this helps.

Hmm, thanks for the picture above. How much did it cost you for paint and install? Is the install simple to do?

I emailed him, he's located 1 hour and half from me. He said I could come by check the fitment if I'd like.

op, dont be cheap and buy the OEM one. in the end it will fit better and save you lots of headaches and extra money. or you can learn the lesson the hardway.

Idk im happy I got this lip and saved some money. I ordered an aerosol spray can of my color and a can of clear from here http://www.automotivetouchup.com/
Matched pretty well! and very easy to do little touch-ups too.
I used some homeade little clips to put mine on b/c the hardware it came with sucked.

My oem one broke and I bought an ebay one. It came out to $48 for the lip shipped. My shop charged me $100 to paint it, and then when I went to pick it up they installed it for me since they had special tools for the mounting bolts that need to be pushed through to release the pin. Fitment was 9/10, and it is poly-u so its more durable than the oem lip that breaks easily. My car is very low so the poly-u works out better. Overall I saved $250 rather than buying the oem one again and still being at risk with a thin lip.

Aftermarket Ap1 Lip Ftw in my opinion.

Link of the exact one I bought:

I'll have pics up in a few weeks of my project thus far..then you can see fitment. I can't complain for the $150 painted lip. All my friends still think its the factory one, they didn't know my lip had broke biggrin.gif

mine is an ebay lip, it was $100, i spent another $40 or so on sandpaper, primer, plastic adhesive, paint, clearcoat, etc, and it came out beautiful...

$140 < $400

another thing to consider is that a lip is going to get beat up on, my oem bumper was all scraped up, hence the need for the lip to cover it up, so low cost is important...

^ Thanks for the input. Does anyone know how much a shop usually charges to paint a lip?
