Default Poly Urethane Front bumper or Fiberglass?

I need to replace my front bumper and was told by one bodyshop to avoid fiberglass as the paint over time tends to bleed. is this true? i was thinking about getting the Extreme Dimensions Duraflex Amuse replica front bumper. they have a really good deal on them now and its cheaper than going OEM. should i stay OEM because its Poly?

What do you mean "bleed"? Bleeding would insinuate the color transfering to some other part of the car. If you mean fading, then don't listen to that body shop. If the prep and paint are done correctly, the paint will last as long as paint on any other surface. If you don't take care of it, when the paint begins to degrade, the fiberglass under it will degrade and compound the problem. If what that bodyshop said were true, all Corvettes would look like sh@t.

if your not going to buy a "real" front bumper get it in fiberglass cause it can be modified because chances are it wont fit.
