Powder coating valve cover yellow
I am looking to get my valve cover powder coated to match as close as possible to the spa yellow of the car. Anyone that has done this have any color recommendations? Thanks.

Think twice. Search for powder coating and valve cover on this forum. You will find some threads that raise significant questions about the use of bead or sand blasting on head covers and engine damage. Also, it is difficult to color match with PC, but it is easy to color match with paint.

You can request free powder coating color swatches from Prismatic Powders and find out which yellow will come close to matching your OEM paint.

Don't want to sound like a broken record, but, read this: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-mo...-cover-894998/

Paint likely won't stand up to the heat a VC sees. Possible oil exposure is another issue with paint.
I have a powdercoated VC for YEARS now. I can't remember if we used hi-temp powder or not but it has help up VERY well.
