Default preventative measure for soft top before it tear

Hey everyone,

There's certain areas of the soft top that's more prone to rubbing that can eventually lead to the top ripping. I read on here about using gorilla tape to prevent the top from ripping. I tried that but didn't like how the tape can come off after putting the top down a few time.

I saw an iron on patch at hobby lobby and thought of using it to prevent any further rubbing/damage to the top. The fabric feels durable and not too thick.

Any inputs ?

never heard of it, but i'll look into it. Have you used it ? If so, for preventative or to repair a tear and how is it holding up ?
