I found a guy who's been in business around here for 11 years and works with a lot of the major dealers.

Hopefully this gets fixed reasonably soon.

soo the neighbor is a little punk.

after i get some estimates $75-$100+, he tries to pull the "i dont think i did it" bs.
after some arguing AGAIN, he offeres me $50.
i didnt want to take it so i suggest we call the police.

thinking that between the pictures and the text messages this kid was sending me agreeing to pay would be enough...
the cop does NOTHING.
she says its a civil matter and that no laws were really broken.
she suggested we work it out or i take him to small claims court.

lesson learned.
you can bang up all the car doors in the world and the cops wont do a thing to you.

i ended up agreeing to the $50 thinking its better than nothing.
if i wanted to file a civil suit, it would cost me $100+ out of pocket just to file.

while im pretty positive i would have won, i really saw no point in dragging this out and still end up not getting squat.

my next plan is to get these punk kids kicked out by the HOA.

it would be one thing if i moved in to a crappy neighborhood where loud music and drunk college kids were the norm.
i live in a nice gated town home community.
no way in hell i should have to deal with this.

the police reccomended that i just call them if i have any complaints from now on rather than knocking on their door.
i told em theyll be getting a lot of calls from this neighborhood.

as for the dent,
trying to get a appt this week some time.
the guy says it should be a easy fix. ill go ahead and have him pop out another tiny ding in the same area.
