Ding on Driver's Side Quarter Panel
Hey All,
I did a couple of searches and couldn't find what I was looking for. I have a small round ding about the size of a half dollar (maybe just a quarter) in the driver's side quarter panel about halfway between the end of the door and the gas door.
I just wanted to know how difficult it is to access this area so the dent can be worked out (I haven't been able to get to a body shop yet). Anyone that has had a dent in either quarter panel please let me know what you had to have done and how much it cost.
Thanks!
Matt

I'm pretty sure it can be done, however look to fork over $100-200 if you go somewhere like dent wizard. I had two dings on my car quoted from dent wizard and it came out to $100 a piece--but it depends on the size of the ding.
Dent guys access that by removing the rear tail light.
BTW, the most common cause of that dent is from lifting the car by the wheelwell in order to get a jack under the car. Be careful, it's a fairly common thing on S2000's.
