Default Recomedations for a clay?

I am looking to get rid of all those annoying little scratches, I have never used a clay before and was just wondering what I should get, and how I should use it.

Clay isn't going to get rid of scratches. Clay bars are to get off surface grime and debris. If you can rub your hand across your paint and feel texture then use a clay bar. If you do you want to use quick detailer or some car wash soap with water in a spray bottle to keep the clay bar wet. As far as the scratches...you need to polish those out. I recently got a Porter Cable 7424XP and it is really simple to use and hard to mess anything up. Great investment if you care (obviously you do or you wouldn't be asking how to get rid of scratches) about the condition of your paint. Good luck and and the guys in Wash & Wax can help you out better then I can
