Is it worth is to buy a replica?

Just need a little feedback.

Noise issues? Quality?

 

Forbidden is close to releasing OEM style side catchers

 

Are you able to switch them out for oem seals?

 

What about RSG Hardtops? Pretty much compatible to forbids or no?

 

From what I have seen the RSG has much better fitment and the quality seems to be a little higher. Thats what Im going with

 

How much do these generally run and where's the "best" place to get one?

Does the Forbidden hardtop come on and off easily, or is it a "semi-permanent" install?

 

Buy the time you buy a replica hardtop, replace all the seals with OEM seals, replace all the crappy hardware with OEM hardware, and paint it you're dangerously close to the price of a used OEM top.

The OEM top is going to have a better fit and finish as well as a headliner and interior panels.

Do the math and add everything up. If the replica saved you enough to justify it then go for it, but if it's close I'd strongly consider looking for an OEM top.
