They appear fairly often in the classified section on here in 25-45 dollar range.

Considering the fact that s2000's are discontinued, how will this affect the availability of hardtops/soft top replacements in the future?

When I bought my HT last year there were 12 of them in Calif. I bought from a local dealer at a great price with no shipping. Work with the parts manager...

WOW both prices are way off for OEM!

That has to be a typo for the 25-45 though, im sure he meant 2500-4500.

I've been here for a while and have never really seen an OEM top go for under 2 grand.

Your best bet it to find aftermarket tops if you want affordability. You may be sacrificing fitment on many of those though, be careful!
Even e-bay tops, im pretty sure no one will guarantee fitment there.

Frequent the members FS or even your local area FS for used tops (be it hard top or soft top), good deals are out there, aftermarket or even OEM. That way you can see fitment if their is a local seller.

Also be sure to check out our sponsors threads, i remember talk about carbon fiber OEM style tops... But that seems to be a myth at this point in time.

May sound odd but your local Honda dealership... By all means don't do it there, just ask them if they can recommend you a body shop.
