good morning folks.

Unfortunately, I had an idiotic moment this past weekend, which resulted in me accidentally backing into a truck parked into my buddies' apartment complex. There was no damage to the truck (steel bumpers ftw lol) but there was some minor damage to my bumper.

the scuffs i know are repairable, but the crack has me concerned. Is is possible to repair the crack pictured below?

Sorry to hear about your little mishap, but that is definitely repairable. Not as bad as it looks as any bodyshop should be able to repair it. After all that's why they call them bumpers for.

 

yea its a piece of cake, all you have to do is plastic weld the crack and refinish it afterwards pm i can show you how to fix it

 

went and got an estimate and was quoted $500 to fix the crack, repaint the bumper and blend the rear quarter panel. does this seem about right to you guys?

 

Yep, and your lucky its not black or it would be more.
