hello guys i recently installed my new ez on soft top glass conversion on my 2001. I have two problems.

First, the seal on the top part of the windshield and soft top frame isnt sealed 100%. I can see a bit of gap between. I tried doing that one fix of adding a washer or whatever under the striker to pull it down tighter but still doesnt work for me. Does anyone else have any advice on this one?

Secondly, the last bar from the front or first bar from the the rear of the top frame isnt folding down correctly thus crushing the glass when folding. I have to help it go over the seam. Im guessing that its supposed to sit right under the seam of the top or before it. Has anyone encountered this problem? could I just loosen some bolt and manually fix the bar to be under the seam?

 

1) The soft top wont tighten all the way to the brackets at first. It needs to be stretched/warmed in the sun to take shape. This happened to mines so I left it the sun the whole day

2) Photos or video would help you a lot quicker.

 

There are two elastic strips between the bars, if those have lost their elasticity the top won't fold correctly.
