Hello,

I have a 2006 Honda s2000. I recently bought it, because of the originale paint.
When washing it today for the first time I noticed the body color coming through in the arches.

Like some “lining” of protection is coming off.
Is this normal?

I googled but could not find anything alike.

Looks like overspray on the metal was covered by some type of undercoat and the undercoat is wearing off.
