plasti dip is really popular with VWs. They do their front bumper/grill with it, it looks pretty good i think.

word of caution though - im not so sure that this stuff peels off as nice/ safetly as everyone would like to think. i plasti dipped the backs of my license plates so the metal wouldnt rub on the paint and the over spray that got on the front of my plates discolored them. maybe thats just because of the reflective paint or something though...

I know this is huge in the Mini community. A ton of people use plastidip to black out emblems, door handles, etc.
