Default Wave in panel under side mirrors, is it just me?

Hey guys, I have recently noticed that there is a wave ripple on my drivers and passenger side doors right under the mirror. Not sure if all S2000s are like that or if mine is the result of someone leaning on it or something.

Anyone have the same thing? Here are some pics but it's really hard to tell in the pics. I used the light post as a guide, the first picture is right before the wave and the second picture you can see the wave sorta.

Looks like something is there that should not be. A good dent less repair guy can knock that out to perfection for < $100.

Hard to see, couldnt really capture it in the photo because its more of a wave than a dent. I used the lamp post to give you an indication. In the first photo it's fully straight right before where the wave starts. In the second photo you can see how it's bent that's where the wave is.

I can't get to my car for a few days to check it, but how does it compare to the other side? If you think there is something and don't want to take it to a dent shop, spend $3-5 for a plastic mechanical suction cup that is used for dents and glass. Make sure the metal is super clean and then with some soapy water or Windex try pulling the wave out with the cup(s). Its a bit of an art form but you will get the knack of it. You can push on it too if you go too far. Utube has videos on various techniques. Take your time.

Almost looks as though the mirrors have come off at some point and when put back on the seal was missing so the bolts were toques down too much causing the skin to buckle a little. The gap between the mirror and skin looks rather large on the sides which would indicate a lack of seal

It is difficult to tell in the photos. However, on my driver side I do have some waving/bubbling occurring. I took it to a shop and he said it could be rust/water sitting because of broken weather stripping on the top of the door. If water is leaking in and sitting in that spot it could cause the bubbling.
