Where could water be coming from

Default Where could water be coming from

Hi

I am trying to locate a drip of water when I feel below the boot rubber seal I can feel damp under the metal below the rubber I have included a picture it is the nearside rear boot

S2000's are notorious for their trunk leaks. There's a good thread on here about the repair. I did it and I no longer have a trunk leak

I don't understand the picture that says "the metal wasn't completely together."
