Default Windshield weatherstrip/gasket question...

I noticed that there is some pretty noticeable rippling/lumpiness on the outer windshield weatherstrip or gasket at the top edge of the windshield - up against the painted top rim.

The windshield itself is in good shape... no need to change the glass. Is this something easy to fix? DIY? (I am not handy... )... or by dealer? Or by glass/windshield specialist? Does this tend to happen to these cars as they age or are subject to hot sun? Just to be clear, there are no leaks or any other issues other than the rubber gasket strip looking beat...

You can probably order the OEM weatherstrip, if you go to a generic windshield place sometimes they'll use a generic flat faced black trim ,it doesn't look as good in my opinion.

Thanks for the advice... can the OEM weatherstrip be put on in place of the wrinkled one without disturbing the actual windshield and seal?
