As opposed to buying any other springs for performance???

They have performed well for me...
Err... I meant springs in general, but especially these.

I installed mine 8 in the front and 9 in the rear and it looks perfect and sexy yea the rear is stiff but I just want the look and I don't plan to autocross the car maybe drag in the future so a stiff rear end will work better for me

Yeah that's how I had mine, but I just didn't like how stiff the rear was, so I swapped them.

i just installed mine:

9 coils in front (marked on the spring "FC")
8 coils in rear (marked on the spring "RC")

as directed by skunk, on the stock shocks.

the springs are clearly marked F for front and R for rear. i don't see where the problem is with people not being able to figure it out.

i'll post pics after driving it around for a few days.

Well that's new, mine were not marked, as a LOT of others weren't either.

I think pre-everyone bitching they didn't come marked because I know the last 3 sets I got for my friends were not marked...been over a year though

Well, what a joke! lol.

Mine were clearly marked FC (9 coil) and RC (8 coil)

I installed them and the front was a tiny bit higher than the rear. Yes I installed them correctly. I've done many installs on many different hondas, I know what I'm doing.

So I drive it for about a week. They settled a little, and the rear is still lower than the front. I have about a 2.5 to 3 finger gap in the front, and about a 1 to 1.5 finger gap in the rear.

So I say **** this, take the fronts off, cut 1 coil off of them, re-install them, and it only dropped maybe .5 of a finger. No difference in the ride or anything like that at all.

I'm going to keep cutting the spring in 1/4 increments to see what happens, lol. I just want the front an ass-hair lower than the rear, like it is supposed to be! Is that so hard to ask?

Other than that, the ride quality is pretty much the same as stock, but keep in mind, I'm used to the harsher 01' suspension. If you have a later model car, the spring rates were dropped for a more "comfy" ride.

I'll post pics of the before & after in a day or so after they re-settle a little more.

Just installed my set last night. Didn't pre-load, FC in front and RC in rear. I gotta say it looks goofy, like a boat. I've got the OE AP1 front lip and I swear I can stand a coke can under it. Back tires are tuckin'. I'm going to meet up with a buddy of mine who's got the same setup, except I think he swapped the springs around, and I'll take some comparison pics and get them in here.
