Default ? about brakes at the track

I do some tracking with my s2k and i upgraded to ebc front and rear drilled and slotted and hawk HP Plus front and rear. the car is stock and im just having some fun on the track. The brakes are great for about 15 to 20 laps (TMP) and after that my pedal eventually goes almost to the floor. After about a half hour im good to go for another 15 to 20 laps etc.. Is this brake fade or just my brake fluid is to hot and it needs to cool down? Mind you after my track day and brakes are cooled to drive home, everything is normal. no different pressure etc.. Just wondering if i should move up to a better fluid? dot 4 maybe. Im running oem honda dot 3 right now.

If i could get any insight on this, i would much appreciate it. Thanks

Flush that fluid out with something a bit better, you can try valvoline first which should be far better than what you're running on now.

You should shorten your sessions imo. TMP is very hard on brakes and I think your coolant and oil temperatures are probably higher than you want them to be with 20+ lap sessions

How old and what kind of fluid is in there now? If old DOT3, flush with fresh DOT4, will be a HUGE improvement. Bleed brakes with fresh DOT4 regularly, at least every other event, preferably every event, more frequently than that if necessary.

I've had no problems with off-the-shelf Castrol or Pennzoil DOT4.
