The money shot is the back side so we can see how they are mounted!

RL calipers are radially mounted: you can see the upper bolt in that last picture. So you just need a 90 degree angle bracket of sorts.:

I wonder if the brackets from the Spoon calipers would be the right dimensions?

So ive been there done that and have had no issues. People give out way too much inaccurate or discourageing information, when they themselves have little or no experience with the matter.

The braking was almost perfect with out adjusting the proportion. Also there is plenty of aftermarket pad support out there for these calipers. I am running a carbon kevlar pad at the moment. The bracket fabrication wasn't extremely difficult, but you will find out with the way these calipers mount you will have no room to play with. A aftermarket setup will be the easier option but these calipers are lighter and larger than the brembos and even some alcons ive had my hands on. Many Nsx guys have used these and are very happy with the results.

Would like to get more info on the fabricated brackets, rotor, any shims being used and offset of the wheels you are running. Help a brother out.

Also in for dimensions. It looks like the bolts intersect inside that bracket and potentially bottom out on each other?

Reviving this thread because I'm in the process of doing this and need some info. I'll be using 2010 Lincoln MKX rotors for this, running 17x9 enkei ts9s in rpf1 s2000 spec. They clear the wheels. Now I need information on the bracket.

Dimensions maybe? If not I'll post up what I can make.

The really isn't enough info on this topic, I feel like there should be.

Any idea what the exact specs (diameter, offset, etc...) of the MKX rotors is?

Did some quick googling and what's got me interested is the MKX looks like it has vented rear rotors, and the caliper has integrated parking brake, so that might be an interesting idea for improving rear brakes.

The S2000 rear brakes need A LOT more help than the fronts, fronts never really get that hot, but the rears freaking cook and fade quickly from heat.

The only other thread on this topic..

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-brakes-suspension-249/4-pistons-rl-calipers-mod-1093828/

Has the MKX front rotor to be the same exact size/thickness as the RL rotor but with a hub bore matching the S2000.

I haven't done any research on the rear yet, focusing more on the front at this point. But I will probably change out the rear at some point also and using the MKX setup is interesting.
