Default alignment/suspension issue.

hey, i recently replaced my rear diff mount that was broken and i had the car jacked up the same height in the rear on both sides. i disconnected my sway bar by taken the bolts out of the two rear brackets( changed the mount...blah...blah...blah). now i noticed something weird, i couldn't get the sway bar to line back up at all? the rear passenger side tire was 1.5 inches further then the right from the top of the fender. one side was just about 6 inches and the other was about 4 1/2 inches. why is this? i have swift springs. also my alignment guy cannot get the rear to be similar. its always like (driver side rear)-2.2, and (passenger rear)-2.0. also the driver side car is lower just sitting there then the right. why could this be? would preloading the suspension make a difference. i didnt preload it when i did the springs. i have 84k on my 01. springs have been on the car for maybe 1k miles.

the way i got the sway bar to line up was to jack up the passenger tire until the sway bar lined up. i know something is not correct. can someone steer me in the right direction. thanks

You are experiencing pre-load of your suspension. Because you don't have adjustable collars you can't negate the different heights of the car. One way around this is adjustable end links.

It's normal for lowering springs. It's not normal for race springs.
