We've recently bought the New ARK STP+ (assist springs)
We tried to put it on an AP1.
the box showed also that the coilovers were for S2000 AP1.

Anyways, we couldn't fit the coilover on the car. The springs are hitting the upper arm. We tried it a lot but it won't clear.

Any suggestions??

Someone told me that the AP2's have different upper arms than the AP1.
Could that be the problem?? But we got the coilover system for AP1 and that's what showed on the box too...

 

never mind, they do clear. no problems with the coilover at all.
Lack of knowledge of the mechanic.

BTW, strictly recommend these coilovers. Great quality, great price...

what did the mechanic do wrong? the more info the merrier

 

he forgot to compress the helper springs. it's all set now...
