I drove to ~3000 miles roundtrip from dfw to la and back on stock seats. Not really any issues with just some quick stretches at the gas stops and food breaks. I used a U shaped pillow to help give me some neck support. This next time around, I think I will try the cloth behind the seatback to give some lumbar support.

The 1st trip I was also on oem ap2 suspension and this time I will be on kwv3 so it will be interesting to see the differences! I had stock shocks with swift springs prior to the kwv3 and now I def notice more of the cracks/grooves/bumps in the road. I do feel like the car is a bit more planted. I can't speak on long distance with the coilovers.

The clutch pedal shouldn't be stiff, have a look at this thread for a solution: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/370...-clutch-pedal/

Speaking from experience of the two, PSS9s can be set up to be a lot more comfortable than the PSS.

Here's my car (The BB in the foreground) which is set up at the highest ride height the PSS9s will allow, to give you an idea of the drop.

I'd learn towards KW since you want to eliminate the wheel gap and the PSS9s don't go that low. I have v3s and love them.
Think i may look at doing something like that when i come to do the heated seat mod.

The thing i keep getting is a heat sensation in my lower back more to the left at random points its not constant it just comes and goes and only happens in the car.

Another theory i have for the cause of this is i wear pretty slim trousers and maybe the angle i'm sitting at in this car is applying too much pressure and slightly cutting the blood flow? I'm experiementing with it and undoing my top trouser button etc, just gotta make sure i do it up when i get out the car, dont want to step out and my trousers to fall down hahaha.

Anyone else had this heat spot feeling??

Also i was feeling the difference between the passenger and drivers seat, obviously the drivers seat is more worn i think that maybe the bottom padding is worn and im not used to the harder suspension its having more of an effect. Might try swapping the seats over as the first test.

If I wanted to leave it stock I wouldn't have made a post about aftermarket suspension, you took time out of your day to respond to nothing I asked about, why didn't you just say sell the car and get something more comfortable -_-
My post was intended to offer a real suggestion, keep it stock.

But your reply above now genuinely has me confused. If your back issues will only be aggravated by lifting too much, then why even mention it in the first place? Why not just post, I want to lower my car for looks, what should I do?
