Default bad coilovers?

I was wondering how do you tell if a single adjustable coilover is going bad. My JIC FLT-As were installed about 20K miles ago. The reason I think something is wrong is that the car seems to be a lot more twitchy and less forgiving during corners. Whenever I go over a bump or small pothole, the impact on the front suspension would shake the whole car as if the shocks are set at full stiff. I have it set at full soft. It seems like the shocks are not dampening or doing their job. Around corners, its seems like the car is very twitchy and not composed or planted. Adjusting the dampers doesn't make a difference. Perhaps it's stuck at full stiff? Though when driving around, it feels almost as comfortable as stock. It only feels different during cornering or bumps. Thinking of switching out with a new set of coilovers.

They look fine from the outside and no leaks. Wonder if the shocks are worn.

maybe you could post in your local forum and find out if there is a shop that has a shock dyno.

it seems like if you notice a sudden difference, something must have changed.
