Default BC Racing BR Coilovers 10K or 12K?

So i just bought some RPF1s 17x9+45 all around with 235/40F and 255/40F. I have been looking for a decent coilover to set the look of this car off a little more and i have read very good reviews on the BC-BR coilovers. I am just not sure what spring rate i should run. I daily this in the summer 90% (10% track) of the time still on stock suspension. I don't plan on slamming this thing maybe 1-1.5". My fenders will be rolled (not pulled) How much stiffer is the 10K and 12K compared to stock? I have heard they ride really great and i think i might just go with the 12K because i can always adjust the stiffness...?

I would really appreciate people that have experience with THIS coilover to respond.

Thanks s2ki!

May i ask why you went with 12k and 10k?

So you bought the car with these coilovers? So you can't compare to stock?

Thanks

I'm on fortune auto 500's with 9k fr/rr. It's hard to compare to stock cause the overall ride quality is different. I think you should go to a local meet and ride in some other members rides to see how there setup feels.

i have the 10k's all around and love the way it rides. i have some shitty highways here and they are fine over them. i also use them for auto-x and would prefer a 14/12 setup, but if DD is your main concern the 10ks are great. Hell ill even sell you mine at a good price...

im not to concerned about the DD really my roads are pretty okay. I think I will go with the 12s and I can always adjust them for DDing. Just have to man up and shell out 950 unless someone has a used set up for sale..

I was told be some people when asking for advice to go 12k front 10k rear. At the time I was on a staggered setup but now I am non staggered. Still feels great. I was told softer springs out back would help keep the rear more easily in check. I can't compare to other spring rates bc I haven't raced in a car with different spring rates. I can say it's felt way more stable and had much better ride quality than stock however.
