Brake pedal feel
Hey everyone, I am having an issue with my brake pedal engagement point and I can't seem to solve it for the life of me. There is quite a bit of dead space in the pedal travel before pad engagement and I can't seem to get that feeling to go away. I have started with a pressure bleed, new pads and rotors (twice), Billman's gravity bleed and keeping the brake pedal depressed for roughly 48 hours and though it feels a tiny bit better it still has huge amounts of travel. I prefer to modulate brakes with pressure and not travel and I don't know how to get rid of this without replacing chunks of the system. Car was an unmolested 2005 with 110k miles on the clock. I'm using RBF600 fluid and this is starting to frustrate me. Is there any way to adjust the brake rod from the pedal to the master? I know the clutch was adjustable and I got that engagement point perfect in a few minutes. Any other ideas?
P.S. system is stock. Running the new Hawk Street + Race pad on Stoptech slotted cryo rotors. Backs pads and rotors are unknown but it doesn't seem like they bite very hard. Tail end gets happy on straight line threshold braking.
Thanks in advance!

Typically this would be air in the lines. Did you ever replace lines or calipers or MC? Something the would introduce air into the system that might be difficult to bleed out?
May need to get creative with bleeding car on an incline to encourage air to exit, and remove caliper to twist and turn with bleeder open so any trapped air migrates up out bleeder.
Also, bleeder threads can sometimes be loose enough to allow air back in when trying to bleed. Either don't loosen bleeder screw too far, or put some sealant on bleeder screw threads.

Is it adjustable? I couldn't find anything on an adjustment.
Very confirmed. I lost a brake line on my RX7 years ago and I've been paranoid since. This is my track car so I inspect it before and after every event.
The feel has been there since day one. Everything up to this point has barely changed the engagement point. It travels a few inches before I have ANY brake input or pedal resistance at all. Zero air bubbles, zero leaks, all new fluid. I just simply have dead space in the pedal travel that I need to take out. Is there any way to adjust the pedal similar to the clutch pedal?
