Default Coilover Sleeves: must they be Koni or Ground Control?

So I already have Eibach springs, Koni Yellow dampers, and oem top mounts. All I need now is adjustable threaded sleeves. I will NOT be using the spring portion that comes with whatever sleeve option I go with. Is there any good reason not to consider things cheaper than the $340 Koni sleeve kit, for example? What about Megan Racing, Tom's, Dropzone? Again, I will NOT be using their springs, just the sleeves for ride height adjustment/corner balancing. (I daily, autocross, time trial, and visit the track a few times a year as well)

Maybe try and contact ground control directly and see if they will sell you a set without the springs?

Close! He had me send him a pic of part numbers, springs, & thought he could make it happen. Since my springs weren't specifically ground control (which was good news, thought they were), he said he couldn't do it. Good idea though, almost worked

Does CT Engineering still sell their threaded sleeve?

Not sure, but I just read of some members having koni's scratched up pretty bad when adapting the comptech's to them. I'll probably just pay the $340 & go with the Koni sleeves to prevent problems.
