i don't understand why people are suggesting expensive brake pads when the OP said he's okay with getting the OEM ones which is only like 40 from honda accessories.

Tirerack.com also has rotors for $53/pop that I'm running. They seem to work. I just cannot find myself spending $120-150/rotor when it's a daily driver.

Even the track guys end up using these rotors.

Yep, those are Centrics, I wonder if that is the cheapest place to buy them?

I just ordered everything on Amazon. $265 shipped for all 4 rotors, and front and rear posi quiet ceramic pads.

52.03 shipped for the fronts from amazon, the rest were from a partner...

44.55 + ship rear.

$29 shipped rear pads
$38 shipped front pads

Good deal.

Let us know how they work out for you.

So far my 'cheap' break setup costs $220 for rotors delivered plus hawk hps pads of $100. $320 is the least I've ever paid for new rotors + pads. I loveit.

Just saw this thread on another website. Apparently, the rotors used by R1 Concepts are Centrics.

So the Centrics arrived. Rears are exactly what I was expecting but the fronts were all black, rotor surface and all. Emailed Centric to find out why and they said its to prevent corrosion and to extend shelf life. I have to take a scotchbrite pad and scuff it off. Odd.

it's hard to bet the price and quality package of the OEM pad if you don't need the extra bite and endurance of track pad

as for rotor, just get the cheapest one you can find, napa in my area doesn't stock out rotor so i end up getting it online(tax free and free shipping)
