Default FLATOUT Suspension

Has anyone ever heard of Flatout Suspension? www.flatoutsuspension.com I talked to the owner for hours the other, very very knowledgeable guy, and the customer service was great! I decided to pull the trigger and order a set of coilovers for my street/drag car. The owner did the research and gave me the OEM spring rate specs, and we decided to go a little stiffer because of the slicks and drag setup. I want something that is really going to help me hook. I will be installing them as soon as they arrive. I will post pics and a write up.

I'm sure not too many people are aware of the company. The owner has been creating suspensions for Subaru race teams for years for rally and auto X events. He just decided to branch out and go mainstream within the last year. He now offers custom suspension setups for virtually any make or model, he can make a custom set for almost anything. Every set is hand made, so it does take 3-4 weeks for delivery, I am just hoping it is well worth it.

I've never heard of it. But it seems interesting. The specs seem solid, like the 510's I have. But i think the pricing would have to be better to get me to try them.

I've had coilovers in the past that offered single adjustment for bump and rebound that weren't Ohlins.

Um, what is patented about the single-adjustment? Other brands that have comp/rebound single adjustment: Bilstein, FatCat, Tractive, AFCO, Xida, etc... just to name a few.

They ended up being over $2k once you add everything you need, but I do not see what that has to do with a proposed "patent".

I believe this is the one that Ohlins has for dual flow rate

According to the dates, it's still active. My post was facetious, Im just saying having that sort of technology in a sub $2k coilover is pretty rare...nice to see the price is dropping on this sort of adjustability.

That looks to be for their specific valve arrangement.

I think you can find the single adjustable bump+rebound in cheap coilovers as well.
