hardrace front upper ball joint
are they slotted like the oem ones?

Try asking hardrace.
I doubt anyone has removed the boot. But I suppose turning the stud in all directions would tell you how they are jointed.
Or if someone can confirm they have an alignment dot...then you can pretty much assume they're physically similar to OEM construction.
why do you ask?

I'm sure they are pressfit.
But it would be pure insanity to re-press a ball joint into that arm without using a clip or some other method to ensure it stays retained in the bore.
Hopefully, they have a clip near the boot.

Now you got me a lil worried , is your spc like that ?

SPC's secure via a large threaded nut. They're not really a press fit. If un-bolted, I could probably pull the plates out by hand or by lightly tapping on them with a tool.
I re-pressed OEM joints into a control arm once and I tack welded it in place.
It looks like the HR joints come with clips, though. So no worries.
I'm assuming you meant slotted as in how the ball stud only has its full motion range (blue arrows) within a slot similar to OEM?
Or did you mean slotted like...they slide back and forth to adjust camber like SPC?
